What do the statuses mean in Person Management?

Modified on Tue, 1 Aug, 2023 at 12:38 PM

Person Management allows schools/facilities to organize students, staff, and non-staff person records that are associated with SWIS Suite data. It is important for someone at the school/facility to regularly review records in person management for data integrity (e.g., accuracy, duplicate records).

Each record has a status: active, inactive, or archived. Any status can be updated at any time as enrollment and participation changes. Changing a person's status will not remove data from reports in the SWIS Suite.

Active: Any currently enrolled student or participating staff/non-staff member in the school/facility. Anyone with an active status appears on all drop-down menus within the SWIS Suite.

Inactive: Any student, staff, or non-staff member who is not actively participating in the school/facility, but who may participate in the future. Anyone with an inactive status will not appear by default on any drop-down list within the SWIS Suite.

Archived: Any former student, staff, or non-staff who has moved on from the school/facility and likely will not return.
