How do I setup Custom Fields for my SWIS account?

Your school or facility may identify additional information about a referral that is needed for local decision making, district/state reporting, or other purposes. Because Custom Fields are a School Setting, school-wide agreements should be made about how to best utilize these fields within SWIS.


SWIS allows up to 10 custom fields to be set up per school.

 

To set up or modify Custom Fields:

  1. In School Settings, click on SWIS.
  2. Click anywhere within the Custom Fields row to expand the menu.
  3. To add a new custom field, click Add.
  4. Enter the label of the Custom Field
  5. Verify that the display box is checked. Click Save.
  6. In the Field Item section, enter the Label for the first item.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Repeat until all items have been entered.
  9. Click Continue.
