We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
There a few things you'll want to think about before you begin.
All of these options are possible! Our recommended workflow is using SWIS as your point of referral entry which will allow you to use SWIS to it's fullest ability. We often find that your SIS doesn't capture some of the really important fields that the SWIS referral form captures and if you use your SIS as your main point of entry you miss out on capturing that data for decision making. By using a couple of our integration options together; SDEX to export your data out of SWIS and DataLink to keep your SWIS student and staff rosters up to date based on your SIS, you'll get the best out of SWIS and our integration options. Information on both SDEX and DataLink can be found here.
