I am a facilitator and I have a school asking for a refresher course in PBIS. I know I read something about this in a newsletter a while ago but I can't find it now.
Regular refreshers in PBIS are very important for maintaining fidelity and staff buy-in, it’s great to hear that the school is requesting this! The materials at PBISApps are very intentionally focused on collection and use of data and are often related to SWIS, CICO-SWIS, ISIS-SWIS, and PBIS Assessment. This sounds a bit narrow for an overall PBIS review but you can definitely pull in some of the Swift at SWIS slides about data (e.g., data-based decision making, data integrity, the purpose of SWIS).
For materials related to the broader PBIS features I would consider (a) asking the PBIS team to complete the Tiered Fidelity Inventory or TFI … or review the most recent fidelity data to identify where implementation strengths and needs are and then, (b) pulling from resources available at www.pbis.org, www.pbisapps.org, and perhaps a few of our state PBIS websites (e.g., Michigan, Wisconsin) based on the topics you want to include.
Do others in the PBISApps community have resources and materials online that you can recommend?
