School Climate Survey

Hailey Lehman May 20, 2016 08:08AM PDT

My region is beginning to explore the use of the School Climate Survey and came up with a few questions that I was hoping I might get answered here. The questions are below:
-Is there a reason the MS/HS survey does not ask about how students treat each other, but the elementary does?
-Is the survey available to take in other languages?
-Are there plans for early elementary years (K-2) to be able to take a survey since this one starts at grade 3

Thank you for any guidance any one can provide!

Each Climate Survey has been validated differently with the 9 items on the MS/HS survey as being the best indicators of the school climate.

Currently the survey is not available on our site in other languages. I have added the feature as a request to our request list.

There are not plans for a K-2 survey at this time. Many schools use a more developmentally appropriate way to gauge school climate for the younger children. The data becomes unreliable with the younger ages.

This question has received the maximum number of answers.
