Grades next year

Jon Lane Jun 11, 2015 04:24AM PDT

Does the SWIS system automatically promote students to the next grade level for the following school year, or do we do this manually. How is this done?

I take we just need to add incoming students? Do seniors grade level change so as to keep them separate from next year's seniors?

At the beginning of the year, each student will need to have his/her grade level identified with the first referral. After that, the grade level you entered will default in the Grade drop-down menu when the student is entered with subsequent referrals. The application doesn’t automatically roll students over into the next grade level; you will enter that with the first referral the student receives.

Students that no longer attend the school should be archived in Person Management.
