What browser versions does PBISApps.org support and how do I troubleshoot problems?

Your school I.T. department may control browser updates, typically with Internet Explorer. In this case, please consult them.

Try a Private Browsing Window

Another troubleshooting strategy is to use a Chrome incognito window or Firefox Private Browse. This will temporarily exclude the use of browser extensions, which may interfere with logging in. Ad blocking extensions are a common source of problems for example.

Remove Sites from Local Intranet Security Zone in Internet Explorer

Some people have mistakenly added one or more of our sites to their local intranet security zone inside of Internet Explorer. This causes display and log in issues and you will have trouble using our applications. The solution is to remove any of the follow sites from your local intranet security zone:
  • www.pbisapps.org
  • www.swis.org
  • app.swis.org
  • www.pbisassessment.org
  • www.eval.org
Remove these sites with wildcard modifiers too, for example: *.swis.org

Reset Browser Settings

If you are having trouble logging in or loading any pages you can try resetting your browser settings, disabling plugins or extensions you have installed, or try using a different browser.
